System Engineer BESS Germany

Overview

Hybrid role, based between home and office in either Berlin, Hamburg or Hanover

Responsibilities

• To carry out technical planning and coordination for construction of Utility-scale BESS projects to develop functional and standardised systems
• Selecting and coordinating technical components
• You will be responsible for compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
• You will assume technical responsibility for projects and support materials
• Create and conduct feasibility studies and concepts for storage projects

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical background
• Practical experience with utility-scale BESS
• You have in-depth knowledge in the areas of low voltage, medium voltage, photovoltaics and battery technologies, photovoltaics and battery technologies
• Ideally, you have knowledge of implementing energy management systems (EMS) and coordinating interfaces
• Strong communication skills in German and English are a matter of course for you
• You are enthusiastic about technological trends and enjoy learning new things
• Candidate must have experience in the German renewables market
