System Engineer/Architect (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Your Role

As a Systems Engineer / Systems Architect (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in our product and project development. You’ll act as the technical owner, connecting customers, engineering teams, and project management. Your responsibilities include:

  • Discussing and analyzing technical requirements with customers
  • Creating requirement specifications (customer and internal)
  • Defining and maintaining the product specification (technical product ownership)
  • Designing the system architecture and supporting integration and verification activities
  • Acting as the technical interface between external stakeholders and internal development teams (electronics, software, mechanics, acoustics)
  • Presenting products and technologies at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Supporting technical project management, including effort estimation and planning
  • Contributing to long-term product and technology strategy

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar
  • Several years of experience in systems engineering – ideally with maritime, acoustic, or embedded electronic systems
  • Strong understanding of requirement management and system specification
  • Experience with system architecture design and interface definition
  • Familiar with tools for requirement management (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
