Job Description

We are recruiting experienced System Integration and Verification (I&V) Engineers to support EUMETSAT activities in Darmstadt, Germany. The role involves the integration and verification of data processing software and Multi-Mission Elements for Earth Observation missions, ensuring system functionality and performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and reviewing I&V documentation such as VCDs, test plans, and procedures.
• Performing integration and verification testing campaigns.
• Supporting validation activities and system testing.
• Automating and maintaining test procedures and suites.
• Managing test data, tools, and anomaly analysis.
• Coordinating with EUMETSAT teams during test readiness reviews and test execution.
• Documenting test results and maintaining relevant records in DOORS.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in ground segment I&V for Earth Observation missions and software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in engineering and testing skills, including requirements management, formal testing, and automation.
• Experience with relevant applications, scripting, and programming languages, and operating systems.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and satellite communication/control systems is desirable.
