Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for Communication Systems (FCAS) to join our client’s Berlin team. This role offers hands-on systems engineering experience in aerospace and defense , focusing on communication architectures, requirements management, and system integration . Remote work is possible up to 60%.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor system and subsystem architectures for complex communication systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and specialists to define use cases and system requirements
• Manage the full lifecycle of requirements : capture, analysis, validation, and traceability
• Lead interdisciplinary coordination for the development and implementation of technical solutions
• Conduct system analyses , evaluate architectural alternatives, and validate system features
• Perform risk analysis and assessment of system properties
• Support integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) of systems and components
• Document system requirements, specifications, and project status reports

Required Qualifications

• Technical degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering , or equivalent
• Proven experience in systems engineering for complex technical systems
• Knowledge of MBSE, DOORS, Jira , and project management methods
• Experience with modern radio communication systems is an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Structured, solution-oriented, and highly responsible working style
• Business-fluent German and English (negotiation level)
