Systems Engineer (f/m/d)

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer /f/m/d) to join our team in Wuppertal, APTIVs German Headquarter. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible to understand, support, and enhance the digital data stream within our custom tool landscape, and to coordinate and collaborate with our internal development teams and regional key-users. Responsibilities Help to optimize the flow of data and information throughout the engineering process and associated tools.Analysis of business requirements and preparation of technical conceptsDefinition of detailed functional requirementsTesting of new functions and featuresCollaboration with development teams and regional subject matter experts (key-users)Support of application/feature implementation Error analysis and coordination of correctionCoordination of requirements with the responsible customer or business groupsAnalysis of existing customer-dependent processes, data, and systems in collaboration and cooperation with the business groups Qualifications Completed degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or comparable professional experience of several yearsMore than 3 years of professional experience in process definition and development or in supporting technical IT applicationsExperience in gathering and formulating business requirementsProcess-oriented thinkingAbility to collaborate in multinational teamsKnowledge of Database concepts (Oracle a plus)Good knowledge of the production processes in the automotive industry preferredVery good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and writtenGood PC knowledge in Microsoft OfficeWillingness to travel globallyDriving license to drive a carFluent written and spoken English, German is a plusTeamwork, strong communication and flexible to constantly changing situations “Important Company Update – Please Read Before Applying.
