Our client is a big product company with several digital products and services on the market (including Fintech) that make easier daily life of their customers.

You will find the dynamics of e-commerce, agile processes, flat hierarchies and steep development curves.

One of their branches is aiming to set a new dimension in mobile banking.

At the moment we're looking for a
Team Leader AML Governance
for technical and disciplinary management of the AML Governance team and strategic development of the department.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in law, economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on compliance
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of money laundering prevention/AML, ideally with management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and best practices in the financial sector
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a confident manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Business fluent German skills
    , both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the AML Governance team and strategic development of the department
  • Responsibility for the AML governance framework, including its continuous development and monitoring
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GwG, KWG, FATF, BaFin requirements)
  • Coordinating internal and external audits in the area of money laundering prevention and deriving and implementing appropriate measures
  • Developing and refining company-specific risk analyses (money laundering, terrorist financing, other criminal offenses) and implementing control plans
  • Developing and maintaining guidelines, control processes, and training concepts to strengthen the compliance culture
