As Python Team Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical orientation, architecture, and delivery of our Python-based systems, while also leading your team to success in both technical and disciplinary matters. You combine in-depth engineering expertise with clear leadership skills, drive standards, processes, and CI/CD structures, and ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives. In doing so, you will work closely with product managers and stakeholders, take ownership of complex projects, and continuously develop both our system landscape and your team. The role offers you the ideal framework to effectively combine technical excellence, leadership, and strategic responsibility.
Python Team Lead (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You will manage the technical architecture of our Python applications and system landscapes, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• You will optimize build scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and development processes for efficient, stable deployments
• You will define and establish coding standards, QA processes, and best practices, including meaningful AI applications
• You will advise product managers and stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and be responsible for the timely implementation of projects
• You will lead and develop your team professionally and disciplinarily, actively share knowledge, and continuously promote the further development of team members

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a senior software engineer or team lead with a focus on Python, system architecture, and technical project management
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and workflow automation
• Confident use of Git, branching strategies, and release management
• Experience working with stakeholders and translating complex requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills, leadership mindset, and enjoyment of developing people and teams
• Strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and technical responsibility
• Business fluent English and German skills at least at B2 level
