Team Lead – Assurance & Reporting (2nd Line of Defence) €135-140k - Frankfurt

I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead to join a growing Information Security & Business Continuity function, leading a team of four and reporting directly into the CISO. This role sits at the heart of ICT risk, owning GRC quality reviews, DORA testing programmes, and 2nd Line audit activities while engaging with senior stakeholders, including the Management Board. We’re looking for a strong leader with a background in financial services, deep expertise in ICT risk and DORA, and the ability to develop high-potential teams. You’ll act as a key SME across the business, driving assurance, shaping governance, and influencing decision-making at a senior level. If you bring experience in GRC, regulatory frameworks (DORA, MaRisk, ISO), and enjoy combining leadership with hands-on impact, this could be a great next step. Fluent German and English is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four in the Information Security & Business Continuity function, reporting to the CISO.
• Own GRC quality reviews and DORA testing programmes.
• Oversee 2nd Line audit activities and engage with senior stakeholders, including the Management Board.
• Act as a key SME across the business to drive assurance, shape governance, and influence senior decisions.

Qualifications

• Background in financial services with deep expertise in ICT risk and DORA.
• Experience in GRC, regulatory frameworks (DORA, MaRisk, ISO).
• Ability to develop high-potential teams and combine leadership with hands-on impact.
• Fluent in German and English.
