Clariness is looking for a Team Lead Project and Operations Management (f/m/d) based in Berlin or Hamburg.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for leading project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects across multiple studies and clients. You will oversee planning and execution remove operational blockers and work closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders to drive performance quality and continuous improvement.

As a Team Lead Project and Operations Management (f/m/d) you would be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting project teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects.
• Overseeing planning execution and monitoring across multiple studies and client accounts.
• Identifying prioritizing and resolving operational risks and blockers to keep projects on track.
• Driving portfolio-level performance reviews and reporting providing clear and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborating closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal study outcomes.
• Implementing process improvements and best practices to optimize operational workflows.
• Ensuring compliance with internal SOPs industry standards and regulatory requirements across all projects.
• Mentoring and developing team members fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.

We would like you to have:

• Proven experience in project and/or operations management within the clinical trial industry ideally in a leadership role.
• Degree in Life Sciences Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex portfolios and multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to lead teams resolve operational challenges and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with performance metrics portfolio reporting and data-driven decision-making.
• Project management certifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) are a plus.
