Team Leader (m/f/d) Service Desk

Tasks:

• Technical and disciplinary management and further development of the service desk team in the area of IT support and end device provision
• Ensuring IT operations in 1st and 2nd level support, including ticket management via ITSM tools
• Service and deployment planning as well as responsibility for day-to-day business in operational support
• Administration and quality assurance of end devices (lifecycle, security, printer management, CMDB)
• Coordination with other IT teams and external service providers, as well as escalation management in the event of malfunctions
• Further development of IT service processes in accordance with ITIL – including KPI monitoring, SLA tracking and reporting
• Employee development, recruiting and structured onboarding of new team members
• Participation in international IT projects (e.g. rollouts, migrations)

Qualifications:

• Degree in (business or technical) computer science or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in IT services, ideally with disciplinary or technical management responsibility
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems and IT applications, in particular Microsoft 365, SAP, Citrix and BMC Remedy
• Experience in IT project management and in working with internal and external partners
• Strong communication skills, organisational talent and role model function in everyday management
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as a high degree of flexibility
• Very good written and spoken English skills
