In this role you will design and execute a scale-up accelerator program focused on supporting cleantech, deep-tech, and hardware-focused scaleups in energy and industrial decarbonization. Together with a consortium of internationally renowned partners, you’ll support scaleups at the forefront of the industry transformation to strengthen economic competitiveness.

We are looking to hire a team member (m/f/x) with a program manager profile focused on our Tech Scale Up Accelerator Program RESPOND. This full-time position is based in Munich.

Your tasks – What we are looking for

• Program Execution: Lead the end-to-end management of the Scale-Up Accelerator Program, from scale-up sourcing and selection to program implementation and evaluation. Ensure seamless execution in collaboration with operational partners.
• Operational Management: Oversee program logistics, budgeting and our network of scaleups, investors, corporates, and policy experts. Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program success and continuously improve effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central contact for scale-ups, mentors, and partners, ensuring strong relationships with industry leaders, investors, and government entities to enhance program impact.
• Policy & Advocacy: Engage with policymakers and industry bodies on regulations that support scale-up growth, innovation, and market access in cleantech and deep-tech sectors.
• Visibility & Outreach: Represent the program at conferences, industry events, and foster collaboration through networking events, workshops, and strategic partnerships.

Your profile – What you contribute

• You have at least 3 years relevant working experience in the fields of startup acceleration, corporate venturing, consulting, innovation management or business development.
• You have a very good understanding of the climate-tech and deep-tech scale-up ecosystem, particularly in the energy and industrial decarbonization space. A track record of developing and implementing successful accelerator or scale-up programs is a strong asset.
• You demonstrated your project management and organizational skills including managing multiple priorities and tasks.
• You have an academic background at the intersections of business, tech and innovation.
• You are passionate about sustainability and have a deep commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact.
• You communicate with confidence and clarity in German and English (written and spoken), ensuring transparency, alignment, and engagement across cross-functional teams.
• You bring a hands-on mentality and a strong sense of accountability, while easily adapting to changing environments.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment, actively contributing to team success by aligning efforts, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
• You are proficient in using multiple digital tools (e.g. Office 365, Mural, Trello, Sales Force) to enhance efficiency and collaboration, ensuring smooth workflows and effective communication within and across your team. You naturally incorporate cutting-edge technologies, also AI, in your work.
