Teamlead Engineering - Hands-on (f/m/d)

Your mission

As an Teamlead Engineering - Hands-on (f/m/d) , you create an environment where your team can build impactful products, grow together and take ownership of their work.

You’ll lead an engineering team that builds robust and secure digital products – with a strong focus on technical excellence, product value and thoughtful collaboration.
You foster ways of working that support creative problem solving, ownership and sustainable development.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap Execution : Collaborate with product management to define and implement the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, ownership and continuous improvement by providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for learning and advancement.

• Team Empowerment : Foster team processes to boost productivity, quality, and speed, always aiming for full ownership and best practices in software development, DevOps and agile methodologies.

• Hands-on Engineering: Write code regularly - often in a pairing or mob setup. Lead through technical presence, give thoughtful input during design sessions and code reviews.

Your profile

• Fullstack with emphasis on backend : - Proven track records of backend engineering in JVM ecosystem (Kotlin is mandatory) and good understanding of frontend technologies.

• End-to-end responsibility mindset: CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, Monitoring - not unknown buzzwords.

• Servant leadership : You have a track record in leading teams. You invest in others, give feedback on eye-level and see leadership as a contribution, not a status.

• Product Mindset : You understand what it takes to build great products – and collaborate cross-functionally. You balance high standards with pragmatism. Experience in developing products in regulated market is a plus.

• Strategy & Execution : You know how to align technical strategy with product vision. You can easily switch between long-term planning and task at hand.

• Languages: you are proficient in German (at least B1) and English (C1).
