Teamlead Key Account Management

Overview

On behalf of my client – an international aerospace company – I am currently looking for an experienced Team Leader in Key Account Management .

This role combines leadership, strategic customer management, and direct responsibility for major OEM contracts. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, high-stakes environment and wants to actively shape long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Key Account team (2–4 people)


• Manage 3–8 OEM contracts with > €100M annual revenue


• Negotiate proposals, modifications, and commercial agreements


• Drive claims handling, receivables management, and KPI fulfillment


• Identify and pursue business development opportunities


• Act as key interface with internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance)

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Business


• 5+ years in customer-facing roles, preferably in the aerospace sector


• Proven leadership skills in a team environment


• Fluent in English; German is an advantage


• Hands-on, structured, and confident communicator
