Teamlead Project Manager (m/f/x)

Your mission

As aTeamleadProject Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of complex, multi-customer projects within the Rail-Flow Transport Management Platform.You will lead a team of Project & Implementation Managers – with functional leadership across the team and disciplinary responsibility for German-based colleagues – set project managementstandards anddrive the adoption of AI-powered tools for documentation, planning, and communication.Your leadership will ensure seamless project execution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across all project phases.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
  Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project & Implementation Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Strategic Project Oversight:
  Oversee the portfolio of customer-specific projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
• Project Management Excellence:
  Define, implement, and continuously improve project management standards and best practices,leveraging AI-enhanced tools (e.g., auto-generated reports, smart linking of Confluence content).
• Stakeholder Engagement & Escalation:
  Act as the primary escalation point for key clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating executive-level meetings, steering committees, and critical project communications.
• Risk & Change Management:
  Proactively identify risks and opportunities, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure effective change management in collaboration with your team.
• Quality & Performance Monitoring:
  Monitor project KPIs, drive process improvements, and ensure high-quality delivery across all projects.
• Financial Oversight:
  Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for project services, and support budget planning for your area.

Your profile

• Degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, project management, business administration, IT, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role, ideally ina logistics or SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in leading and developing project teams, with strong people management and coaching skills.
• Strong ability to manage a project portfolio, prioritize initiatives, and align project outcomes with businessobjectives.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Atlas) and experience implementing process improvements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills;high levelof initiative; ability to work under pressure; willingness to travel; andstrong teamorientation.
• Very goodcommunication skills in German and English.
• Experience driving adoption of AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI assistants in Jira/Confluence, automated reporting) within teams.(Nice to have)
