Responsibilities

• Leadership and development: Lead and motivate the shipping team, support its development, and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
• Process management: Oversee the entire shipping process, optimize logistics workflows, and ensure on‑time product delivery with a focus on continuous efficiency gains.
• Warehouse management: Manage the finished goods warehouse, optimize its organization, and ensure adherence to defined service levels.
• Customs and compliance: Act as the expert for all customs processes, identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with customs authorities and forwarders.
• Coordination and collaboration: Serve as the central interface between internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics and supply chains.
• Quality and safety: Ensure shipping and warehousing processes meet high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification: Completed training as a forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann) or as a wholesale and logistics services clerk (Kaufmann für Speditions- und Logistikdienstleistungen).
• Experience: Several years of relevant experience in shipping or logistics, with proven practice in customs matters.
• Leadership: Experience in leading and developing a team and driving its success.
• IT skills: Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Languages: German and English at business level.
• Personal strengths: Structured, solution‑oriented work style with strong organizational talents and assertiveness.
