Your Key Responsibilities

• Disciplinary and technical team leadership of the Logistics Foundation team for direct support of assigned locations and global consulting of the VLS logistics locations
• Varied topics in IT and digitization aligned for the focus area Operations & Supply Chain Management VLSTaking over the product owner role for Logistics Foundation relevant IT demands
• Development, implementation and operation of logistics digital solutions (hardware and software), as well as primary contact for management decisions / escalations
• Control of resources and coordination of necessary actions with the assigned technology area.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with general policies and guidelines
• Support in the preparation of functional budget planning and reporting.
• Further development and coaching of team members

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, applied computer science, business informatics or a comparable course of study
• 5-10 years of professional experience as a manager in the IT environment
• Empathy, perseverance, solution orientation and a certain degree of creativity
• Very good knowledge of German and English
