We are looking for a Technical director to serve as a trusted technology advisor to some of our most strategic clients in the Retail and CPG domain , with a strong emphasis on B2C/B2B platforms expertise . You will help shape technology strategy, guide complex architecture decisions, and ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality digital solutions.

This is a senior individual contributor role , focused on client-facing technology leadership across enterprise accounts. You’ll collaborate closely with delivery, account management, and sales teams to ensure our engineering solutions deliver tangible business value — particularly in the evolving world of Digital Retail infrastructure and platforms .

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering , Technology Consulting , Technology Management , or CTO-level roles
Proven track record of working in or with large IT outsourcing/delivery organizations
Strong business and technical knowledge of eCommerce platforms , such as Shopify , Salesforce Commerce Cloud , VTEX , Magento .
Strong track record in digital transformation projects in the following areas: Composable Commerce, Omnichannel, Unified Commerce, Retail, Order Management (OMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Integration platforms, Marketing Automation and Loyalty programs.
Deep familiarity with the Retail and/or CPG sector , including digital commerce challenges, customer experience transformation, and platform modernization
Understanding of large-scale integration projects involving platforms like Salesforce , Microsoft Dynamics , SAP , or ServiceNow
Broad knowledge across Solution Architecture , Product Management , UX , Business Analysis , and modern software development practices
Ability to advise and coach senior engineering teams , influence stakeholders, and drive architectural alignment across programs
External and internal thought leadership , including speaking engagements, publications, or participation in tech communities

Responsibilities:

Serve as trusted technology advisor and thought leader for strategic Retail/CPG accounts, with a strong focus on Digital Retail transformation .
Own and guide the overall technology strategy and architectural direction across client portfolios, ensuring solutions are scalable, future-ready, and aligned with business goals.
Partner with senior client stakeholders to define long-term technology roadmaps , translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, and oversee execution from proposal through delivery.
Ensure technical quality of delivery by setting KPIs and quality benchmarks jointly with clients, while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for efficiency.
Collaborate with sales and account management teams on pre-sales, bid support, and upsell opportunities—shaping solutions, proposals, and technical positioning that drive account growth .
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, positioning technology as a strategic enabler for their business.
Lead technical workshops, PoCs, and accelerators to explore opportunities, validate approaches, and drive competitive advantage.
Mentor and coach senior engineering leaders, fostering consulting and product mindsets while raising the overall bar of technical excellence across teams.
Contribute to cross-vertical technology expertise through participation in the Intellias Technology Council
Shape new technology service offerings and feed into corporate R&D strategy
Co-own engineering excellence and competency strategy across Retail/CPG and eCommerce domains
