Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Lead – Backend & Streaming APIs located in Berlin, Germany, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Technical Lead will handle the architecture, design, and development of backend systems and streaming APIs. Daily tasks include managing server infrastructure, implementing and optimizing streaming services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system security and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in backend development, including knowledge of server infrastructure and system architecture
- Experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficient in developing and optimizing streaming APIs and real-time data processing
- Experience with cloud services and deployment, particularly with high-availability and scalable systems
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Node.js, Go
- Knowledge of database management systems and data storage solutions
- Solid understanding of network protocols and media streaming technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the media streaming industry is a plus
