Technical Product Specialist (m/f/d) for Reciprocating Compressors

We are currently looking for a Technical Product Specialist to support our Product Management team at our site in Frickenhausen.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers and internal teams regarding refrigeration compressor applications.
- Assist in the selection and application of refrigeration compressors to meet specific customer needs and system requirements.
- Work closely with customers and sales to understand their requirements and provide optimized solutions for refrigeration and heat‑pump systems.
- Manage application projects from conception through implementation, ensuring that customer specifications are met.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application and customer notes, instructions, reports and software testing and optimizations.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on product applications and best practices.
- Plan and schedule service visits to ensure timely and efficient support for customers.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on refrigeration technology.
- Several years of relevant professional experience and extensive specialist knowledge in refrigeration and compressor technology; experience with natural refrigerants (CO₂ / HC) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electrical and refrigeration cycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and project support.
