TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense start-up that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager, who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the big picture, and can drive operational excellence across fast-moving projects. In this role, you’ll work at the interface of engineering, product, and operations, helping us coordinate internal teams, align external partners, and execute mission-critical projects with precision.
Your roadmap to make an impact
Own and manage key internal and external projects — from planning and execution to risk management and delivery
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, business, and field operations to ensure milestones and dependencies are aligned
Develop and track project timelines, KPIs, budgets, and delivery goals on time, on quality on cost
Serve as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic partners
Prepare project updates, flag risks, and communicate progress clearly and transparently across the organization
Identify bottlenecks early and implement solutions that keep things moving
Support the development of scalable project governance structures and continuous improvement processes
Work closely with leadership to shape operational priorities and prepare TYTAN for scale
Who you are
You bring 2–5 years of project or program management experience — ideally in aerospace, defense, robotics, or another complex hardware-software industry
You combine structure and agility: You know how to track deliverables and adapt fast when priorities shift
You’re a clear communicator - written, verbal, and visual - who can navigate both engineering meetings and leadership discussions
You work proactively, independently, and hands-on — you don’t just manage plans, you help get things done
You are comfortable working in an early-stage environment and are motivated by speed, ownership, and impact
Experience with project tools (e.g. Notion, Excel, Gantt, Kanban, etc.) is welcome
Experience with public sector, procurement projects, or security-sensitive environments is a plus
You are fluent in English and German
