The Role

This position supports the growth of the Energy Storage Systems (ESS) business across Europe. You will act as a technical authority within the sales process, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver tailored ESS solutions across C&I and utility-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales teams with technical expertise and product knowledge throughout the sales cycle
• Understand customer requirements and challenges to propose fit-for-purpose ESS solutions
• Contribute to technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution concepts, including technical input during negotiations
• Deliver technical presentations, simulations, and solution demonstrations
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting deal progression and closure
• Translate customer technical requirements into clear inputs for solution management and product development teams
• Support site surveys alongside technical teams, partners, and customers
• Monitor grid codes, standards, legislation, and market trends
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or similar
• 3–5 years’ experience in Energy Storage Systems and system integration
• Strong understanding of ESS architectures and applications
• Fluency in German and English
• Installation experience or certification for 1000 VAC / 1500 VDC advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Comfortable working independently and within international teams
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Willing to travel occasionally; driving license required
