Irving Knight are partnered with a leading manufacturer specialising in low-voltage electrical distribution products looking to add a Technical Sales Engineer to their data center business unit.

Job Overview

• Maintain long‑term partnerships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support
• Manage and respond to technical and commercial inquiries from customer purchasing, production, and engineering departments
• Coordinate all phases of customer projects from initial engagement through to delivery and commissioning
• Partner with product managers to guide customer projects through the design‑in phase, ensuring technical expectations and requirements are met
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions for customers and industry partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• In‑depth low‑voltage product experience – industrial connectors, power distributors, cable assemblies, plugs and sockets etc.
• Technical sales experience with an expertise in project management from planning to execution, with effective cost management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of power technology for the data center market is highly desirable
