Technical Sales Representative — Indoor/Field Service (m/f/d)
Preparation of technical-commercial offers, support of customers and projects from enquiry to order fulfillment, analysis of requirements, coordination of internal interfaces, maintenance of sales data and support of acquisition, contract negotiations and trade fair and marketing activities.
Your area of responsibility includes the following activities
- Planning and organization or execution of acquisitions taking into account operational resources and technical feasibility
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of technical-commercial offers as well as ensuring feasibility and cost testing
- Preparation of complex offers and price calculations in accordance with operational calculation guidelines after consultation with the responsible manager
- Independent planning, preparation and execution of customer visits
- Ensuring transparent documentation including fair filing of all documents relevant to the offer and maintaining customer information
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Active support of offers up to contract negotiation and order placement
- Active internal and external support of orders up to complete processing
- Evaluation of offer results taking into account customer information, preparation of improvement strategies for procedure, calculation and technical solution
- Maintaining and maintaining the supply and order backlog of your own sales department in the ERP system
- Obtain, compile and process information about competitors and the assigned market region
- Preparation and participation in trade fairs/exhibitions
- Collaboration on sales and marketing projects
- Reporting task, i.e. provision and preparation of data from your own area
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or industrial engineering or an apprenticeship as a technician
- Acquisition experience of products that require technical explanation
- Extensive knowledge of contract law is an advantage
- Profound knowledge of common office programs and ERP systems (e.g. Sage Office Line)
- Very good English language skills. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel on business
