What to Expect

We are looking to hire a Technical Writer to join our Channel Development team for residential energy products in EMEA, focused on training and support for products like Powerwall and Wall Connector. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for the creation, localisation and distribution of technical content in various formats for our customers and partners. You will play a key role in translating complex technical information into clear, easy‑to‑understand content, ensuring compliance and providing our customers with high‑quality, accessible resources.

What You’ll Do

• Gather technical information from internal teams, and translate it into clear, accessible language suitable for a diverse audience ranging from homeowners to experienced installers.
• Create and/or localise high‑quality technical content, such as newsletters, installation manuals, troubleshooting guides, application notes, support pages and training material.
• Create visually appealing and effective slides, diagrams and other graphic content to enhance the presentation and comprehension of technical information.
• Liaise with in‑country experts to adapt technical content to meet local needs and standards, and ensure consistency in style, tone and terminology between language regions and content formats.
• Coordinate and schedule instructor‑led training sessions for our partners and conduct train‑the‑trainer sessions to equip instructors with the necessary knowledge and tools for effective training.
• Continuously improve content creation processes, explore innovative ways to enhance the effectiveness of technical communication and stay updated on industry trends for content creation and instructional design.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the field of electrical engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into engaging content.
• Experience in coordinating and delivering instructor‑led training both in‑person and virtual.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with industry‑standard tools and software used for technical content creation.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with a keen attention to detail.
