For the IT Quality & Test Management department, we are looking for a Test & Application Manager (x|f|m) limited until March 2027 for Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. In this role, you will ensure that software changes are implemented in a planned, secure, and quality-assured manner in the productive environment – through integrated management of Release Management and Test Management along the SDLC.

This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Your Responsibilities

• Define test strategy (risk-based), test concepts, and test cases for all test levels


• Coordinate various stakeholders (Business and IT)


• Create test plans and reports; provide regular status reports to management


• Review test cases before and after execution regarding quality and internal standards


• Manage defects in collaboration with responsible parties


• Act as Process Expert and Application Manager for the testing tool landscape (JIRA, qTest, Vera, SolMan): maintain requirements, improve processes for efficiency and new releases, drive changes


• Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks; ensure domain‑specific requirements (e.g., regulatory compliance, audit trail)

What will convince us

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification


• Several years of experience in test management within complex IT landscapes


• Knowledge of V-Model, GAMP5, GxP, CSV is an advantage


• Clear and target‑group‑oriented communication


• Experience in coordinating software lifecycle processes (planning, testing, deployment) and collaborating with cross‑functional teams (development, operations, business)


• Analytical thinking and structured working style


• Stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills


• Fluent German and English skills complete your profile
