Join EFT Mobility at a pivotal time as we revolutionize the future of electric transport, focusing on cutting‑edge Electric Powertrain (EFT) solutions for high‑reliability applications, including UAV power systems . We are a fast‑growing, dynamic company where every engineer plays a direct, hands‑on role in bringing our innovative, safety‑critical products to life. If you thrive on ensuring product quality and solving complex, real‑world problems, we want you on our team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands‑on V&V Engineer to be the final quality gate for our battery and charging systems. This critical role demands a holistic approach to testing, spanning from individual battery cells and power electronics to the complete system level . You will be essential in ensuring our products meet and exceed rigorous performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
System Validation & Testing: Plan and execute validation and verification tests for battery and charging systems (including BMS and power electronics) from cell level to full system level.
Reliability & Environmental Testing: Conduct reliability, environmental, and EMC testing (e.g., HALT/HASS, temperature and humidity tests) to ensure robust performance under real‑world conditions.
Failure Analysis: Investigate field failures, reproduce issues in the lab, and support root cause analysis to drive design and process improvements.
Test Automation & Infrastructure: Develop and maintain automated test routines and configure test environments (e.g., DAQ systems, sensors, HIL setups).
Engineering Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with engineering teams, analyze and document test results, and derive actionable improvements.
V&V Expertise: Several years of experience (ideally 3–5 years) in validation and verification of complex electrical systems, preferably involving battery systems and power electronics in high‑reliability environments.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of battery technology (cell to pack), power electronics (inverters, converters, chargers), and Battery Management Systems (BMS) including their testing methodologies.
Specialized Testing: Experience with environmental and reliability testing such as temperature, humidity, salt spray, EMC/EMI, and accelerated testing methods (e.g., HALT/HASS).
Test Automation: Experience with professional test automation and data acquisition tools such as LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or similar industry‑standard platforms.
Lab Instrumentation: Hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, programmable power supplies, electronic loads, and measurement tools like digital multimeters (DMM).
Test Infrastructure: Practical experience with DAQ systems, sensor integration, and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) environments, including basic mechanical and electrical skills for building test fixtures or adapter boards.
Systems Thinking: Understanding of system engineering principles, particularly requirements definition, traceability, and comprehensive validation coverage.
Mindset: Strong hands‑on mentality, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to execute tests independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Direct impact: See your contributions rapidly integrated from cutting‑edge research into industrialized products, flying in the field within short development cycles.
Culture & Environment: A dynamic, fast‑paced, and collaborative startup environment with flat hierarchies, efficient collaboration, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning opportunities.
Work‑life Balance: We offer flexible work schedules, and 30 days of paid vacation each year to support your personal and professional life.
Lunch Benefit: We promote healthy eating and the well‑being of our employees with a monthly lunch budget.
Mobility Benefit: With our mobility budget, we pay your “Germany Ticket” for work or personal use monthly.
Health & Wellness: We support your physical well‑being with a company‑subsidized eGym Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms and sports facilities.
Language Courses: German isn’t your mother tongue? We sponsor German courses for you to quickly learn and integrate even more.
