Position title: Thesis student (f/m/d) - Feasibility Analysis and/or Conceptual Design of a Model for Aggregated Financial Metrics Based on the Business Data Cloud

The objective of this thesis is to examine the technical feasibility as well as the data-driven value of a model for aggregated financial metrics based on the Business Data Cloud. Furthermore, the study analyzes to what extent financial metrics (e.g., trial balance, budget variances, or cost structures) can be meaningfully aggregated, analyzed, and visualized within an application. Finally, a conceptual model for potential extensions is developed.

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences

Educational requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

Experience level and background

• Experience with financial analytics or controlling systems
