The authenticity of TikTok has created a new way for brands and merchants to meaningfully connect with creators and the community. Through an innovative e‑commerce platform that helps shoppers discover and purchase products within the app, TikTok E-commerce enhances promotion and sales for merchants and brands with an entertaining user experience. We are committed to supporting merchants and creators through our safe and trusted shopping platform.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is adaptable, collaborative, and able to work with a number of merchants and internal stakeholders in a fast‑paced and exciting environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Home & Living categories.
  • Map the category landscape and define priority on which segment to be developed in collaboration with partners.
  • Build the category/sub‑category and a clear roadmap to manage long‑tail partners.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain category performance.
  • Partnership acquisition and onboarding: identify potential partners, build onboarding solutions (including business model suggestions, creator affiliation, partner education) and set up their mid‑ and long‑term account plans and help them grow their business sustainably on the platform.
  • Work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external service vendors to help partners with content on the platform.
  • Own internal projects to contribute to the category’s ecosystem as a whole (including campaigns, product launches, B2B marketing).
  • Propose initiatives to continuously improve competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • German fluency, as clients, partners and sellers primarily communicate in German.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, New Seller or User Acquisition, or equivalent fields.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Customer service orientation and experience working in a client‑facing capacity.
  • Strong sense of social content (livestream and short‑video is a preference).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong network of German selling partners and deep knowledge of the Germany e‑commerce category industry landscape, consumer demands, or digital evolution.
  • Eager to win, growth‑driven, business mindset, result‑driven.
  • Collaborative and open to changes, challenges and learning.
  • A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to change quickly.
