Overview:

We are seeking a Market Research Analyst to support the Principal in identifying short-term trading opportunities across global equities and derivatives markets.

This role focuses on research and analysis using Bloomberg, not execution — you’ll surface actionable insights and market patterns that inform tactical trading decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily market screening using Bloomberg across equities, indices, and derivatives.
• Research and summarize short-term trade opportunities (technical, macro, sentiment-based).
• Prepare clear, concise reports with entry/exit rationale and risk/reward considerations.
• Track volatility metrics, options activity, and event-driven catalysts.
• Maintain sector watchlists and performance dashboards.
• Present findings directly to the Principal and participate in idea discussions.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in market analysis, trading research, or derivatives.
• Advanced Bloomberg skills (equity screening, options monitors, charting, news).
• Strong understanding of equity and derivatives markets.
• Analytical, independent, and detail-oriented.
• Fluent in English (German a plus).
