TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.

We are looking for a UAV Field Technician to join our team and support our flight testing operations. As a UAV Field Tech, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of ground control systems (GCS) and UAV systems during flight testing. Your role will involve hands‑on technical support, ensuring flight test infrastructure is prepared and maintained for seamless operations.

Who you are

• Prior experience with UAV systems and flight testing is essential.
• A background in military operations or a similar high‑pressure, technical environment will be highly beneficial.
• Experience with model RC aircraft flying or UAV systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and handle technical challenges on‑site.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Your roadmap to make an impact

• Assist the flight test team by providing technical support for UAV operations during field testing.
• Set up and configure UAV systems, including Ground Control Stations (GCS), to ensure readiness for testing.
• Take ownership of the flight test infrastructure, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Support the setup and maintenance of flight test operations in the field, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and flight test personnel to ensure safe and successful flight testing.
• Ensure adherence to operational protocols and safety standards during flight operations.
