UI/UX Product Designer (Mobile) – Health & Wellness App

Location: Ideally in Berlin, will also consider remote in Germany

Must have designed mobile applications and delivered consumer facing products as a Product Manager

A leading company in the digital health and wellness space is seeking a UI/UX Product Designer to join its team and take ownership of its flagship mobile application.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the improvement and ongoing maintenance of an international mobile brain-training application, focusing on growth, engagement, and monetization.
Conceptualize, test, and implement new product features based on user needs and market trends.
Identify and address market-specific needs to maximize user value.
Establish and maintain high standards for UI and visual design.
Analyze user behavior, identify patterns, and provide actionable design solutions.
Conduct user testing and customer interviews to inform product development and innovation.
Embrace a growth mindset and continuously seek learning opportunities for personal and team development.
Ensure a high level of product quality in both function and aesthetics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Intelligence, Customer Care, and CRM teams.
Develop deep expertise in the product and contribute actively within Growth and Product teams.

Requirements

A strong personal interest in self-improvement and digital health.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working on digital consumer products (e.g., e-commerce, games, education, or health sectors).
Proven experience in designing mobile applications available on the App Store or Google Play.
Residing in a time zone within ±2 hours of Central European Time (CET).
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Strong eye for visual detail and commitment to design excellence.
Experience with UX research or collaboration on user research initiatives.
Educational background in Design, Business, Neuroscience, Psychology, or related fields.
Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning (e.g., through books, podcasts, or courses).
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with analyzing user flows, engagement metrics, and retention data.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members.
