Upper School Learning Support Teacher (ALL GENDER)

The International School of Stuttgart e.V. is a non-profit Kindergarten through 12th grade, NEASC accredited, IB World School offering an international curriculum to a student body of about 800 from over 40 nations. Upper School Learning Support Teacher

Starting in August 2026. Full-time. This Position is initially for one year.

Candidates will have at least a bachelor's degree and a qualified teacher status and should also have:

• Three or more years experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• IB MYP and DP experience preferred
• have a strong commitment to the values of international education
• display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
• value and respect the views and needs of children and young people
• experience in provide individual and small-group learning support
• Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations and differentiated strategies
• ability to develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• experience supporting students in both inclusive classrooms and targeted intervention settings
• ability to monitor progress, maintain records, and communicate with families

Candidates should:

• have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
• display commitment and knowledge for the protection and safeguarding of children and young people

The following would be an advantage:

• experience in using technology in the classroom
