The Team – your impact
The Upskilling Manager will be the principal driver of the learning and capability building agenda for our organization’s large‑scale DevOps transformation. This role requires a blend of strategic L&D expertise, project management acumen, and a fundamental understanding of DevOps culture, practices, and technologies. You will ensure that teams undergoing the transformation are equipped with the right combination of technical, process, and agile skills to successfully adopt and sustain the new operating model.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Develop a transformation‑aligned, demand‑driven upskilling strategy for the DevOps organization
- Design and curate modern learning pathways, combining internal, external, and hands‑on learning formats
- Shape leadership development programs focused on modern software delivery and DevOps fundamentals
- Manage external training vendors, ensuring quality, strategic alignment, and effective budget use
- Ensure a high‑quality learning experience and foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization
- Plan and deliver impactful learning events such as hackathons, tech talks, and learning days
- Define KPIs, track learning effectiveness, and maintain close alignment with key stakeholders
Your Profile – authentic & open‑minded
- Bachelor / Master in IT, organizational development, or similar, plus multi‑year L&D experience in large IT environments
- Proven track record designing and executing large‑scale upskilling or change enablement programs for technical transformations
- Solid conceptual understanding of core DevOps and IT topics (CI / CD, automation, security, cloud, AI / data)
- Ability to translate complex IT topics into engaging learning content for diverse audiences
- Strong stakeholder and executive‑level communication, writing, and facilitation capabilities
- Experience organising online and in‑person learning events and working with learning platforms and media tools
- Excellent English skills; German language skills are a plus
