UserAccount : Dual study programme 2026 : Industrial Engineering (B.E)

Overview

3.5-year dual study program in industrial engineering starting on at our Düsseldorf location in cooperation with FOM in Düsseldorf.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

Diverse insights into different areas of the company and work at the interface between business and technology. Familiarization with the basic processes of project and product management, technical support, service, marketing and customer service, both in the office and in the field.

As a team player you will take on projects independently and responsibly, show creativity, understand technical and economic contexts, carry out organisational activities and be actively involved in our day-to-day business. Activities at the national level; contact with customers, suppliers and SICK AG will develop your personal competence.

Possible areas of employment include project and product management, technical support, service & project execution management systems, controlling and various sales departments.

Evening and Saturday studies: 2 evenings / week and approx. 2 Saturdays / month; study at FOM 3 days / week, assignment in our areas of operation.

WHAT YOU NEED :

• Abitur subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification or comparable training
• Strong interest in business and technical contexts
• Ability to analyze facts and interest in developing concepts
• Willingness to work in the field / willingness to travel during your studies
• Openness and motivation for a future career in the field
• Enjoyment of consulting and solution development
• Communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office programs
• Understanding and interest in the technology and products in our company
• Willingness to study in the evening and on Saturdays (lecture times are compensated for in free time)
