UX & UI Designer (f/m/d)

For an international customer we are looking for a UX & UI Designer (f/m/d).

Your tasks will be:

• The aim is to analyze our existing tool holistically from a UI/UX perspective, identify usage hurdles and identify and implement optimization potential. The service includes the revision and modernization of the existing application as well as the conceptual and design activities of new features and topics to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience

Research & Workshops

• Prepare and lead workshops for functional framing, ideation, and co-design
• Organise ad-hoc user tests, interviews, or focus groups as needed
• Test early concepts with users and gather measurable insights
• Create documentation for user flows, interaction logic, and component behaviour

UX Design

• Create wireframes and clickable prototypes in Figma using the Nova design system
• Design user flows based on standards and best practices
• Iterate prototypes based on validated research and feedback

UI Design

• Produce final UI screens using Nova components and tokens
• Finalize UI design in Figma and provide a developer-ready handover via Dev Mode

Communication

• Present concepts and design solutions to stakeholders
• Actively provide consultancy services upon request of the UX Chapter and Product, concerning their activities such as feedback and knowledge sharing to ensure common UX standards

Following know-how is required:

• Formal qualification (Bachelor or Master) in Design, Product Design, UI/UX Design, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience in complex, data-heavy or workflow-driven environments
• Experience gathering user feedback, validating designs, and iterating based on measurable insights
• Strong ability to produce user flows, interaction models, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI using system standards
• Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction patterns, and simplifying complexity through clear design
• Demonstrated experience conducting user tests or validation sessions and iterating designs based on insights
• Excellent skills in Figma, including Variables, Tokens, and Dev Mode
• Experience working in cross-functional Scrum environments is an advantage.
• Good technical understanding of web applications; basic HTML/CSS/JS/TS knowledge is a plus
• The above experience should be supported by a strong, relevant UX/UI design portfolio – MUST
• Fluent German (min. C1 or comparable) and English
