Role Overview

Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, is seeking a skilled UXUI Designer for our Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) in Munich. This 18-month leased labor position focuses on designing user experiences for intelligent cockpit systems, including AI-powered conversational features.

Responsibilities

• Discover and define UXUI opportunities in AI-enabled in-car HMI systems, considering user values, technology trends, and competitor analysis.
• Deliver creative ideas and high-quality designs, including user flows, wireframes, UI prototypes, storytelling demos/videos, and presentation materials.
• Transform technical frameworks into implementable user experiences, enhancing interface usability.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in UXUI design, HMI/HCI, product design, multimedia, or similar.
• Experience in automotive HMI or consumer product UI design; AI or voice interaction design experience is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating proven UX/UI work on real products or pre-development projects.
• Proficiency in Figma, AE, ProtoPie, PowerPoint; 3D visualization skills are advantageous.
• Experience with interactive demos, user testing, and generative AI tools for design is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication in English; Mandarin skills are a plus.
