Since our founding in 1880, we've built a reputation for unrivalled risk-related expertise and a solid financial foundation. We use our strengths to support our clients' business goals and drive technological progress. We're also at the forefront of developing coverage for emerging risks, from rocket launches and renewable energy to cyber threats and artificial intelligence.

Munich Re's Central Life Reserving (CLR) Global Oversight team is responsible for the IFRS17 reporting and reserves held in the Life and Health Reinsurance (LH RI) Portfolio. We empower actuaries across the globe to provide actionable analytics on business and reserve developments relevant for decision making. We expand and improve our capabilities for analyzing and understanding risks. We drive the development and implementation of an integrated actuarial analysis and reporting platform, while constantly safeguarding the availability of high-quality data for the reserving and business analysis processes.
Over the next few years, a key objective for the department will be the further development and automation of the valuation processes, analysis and reporting. In this context, this position offers an exciting opportunity and exposure to our global IFRS17 operations by supporting the CLR IFRS Operations and Analytics (O&A) team with quarterly valuation activities, technical systems development and cross-functional initiatives geared towards the optimisation of consistent reserving processes and reporting tools across LH RI.
