Your tasks

In this key position, you are the driving force behind the profitability of our products. You build the bridge between technology and finance.

• Cost optimization: You continuously evaluate and optimize product and manufacturer costs and identify targeted savings potential across the entire product life cycle.
• Offer analysis: You carry out commercial analyses of supplier offers, derive specific recommendations for action and implement sustainable cost reduction strategies.
• Methodology & calculation: You define precise cost break-downs (cost structures) and support make-or-buy decisions with well-founded profitability analyses.
• Interface management: As the central authority between purchasing and technology, you advise the specialist departments and actively contribute to the design of assembly strategies.

Your profile

• Education: You have a degree in a technical field (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering) or comparable technical vocational training with appropriate further training.
• Specialist knowledge: Ideally, you already have experience in cost calculation as well as sound knowledge of production and manufacturing (various manufacturing technologies).
• Industry experience: Experience in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, HVAC (air conditioning/ventilation) or electrical equipment is a big plus.
• Languages: You communicate confidently in German and English (both written and spoken fluently).
