Venture Development Intern - New Frontiers (f/m/d)

• Start date: January 2026
• Monthly Salary: €2,250/month for Interns (40h/week)
• Work Model: Full-time, hybrid (based in Munich); preferably in Munich.
• Travel: Some travel potentially required

Your role
As a
Venture Development Intern
, you will play an important role in supporting Orbem's commercial success. You will work closely with our New Frontiers Venture Development team on a wide range of tasks, from identifying new market opportunities and generating leads to driving our go-to-market strategy and preparing materials for commercial negotiations. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable experience across the full Venture Development cycle.

Your day-to-day
Strategic Market Analysis
You will be focussing on the following areas:

• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends, potential clients, and strategic opportunities.
• Assess new market opportunities by identifying and qualifying new leads through research, outbound prospecting, and industry event preparation.

Sales Process Support

• Prepare materials for client presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches.
• Support in preparing documentation, background analysis, and briefing materials for senior team members ahead of commercial negotiations.
• Help maintain and organize our CRM system to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date.

Customer Relationship Management

• Support the initial stages of relationship building by assisting with communications and follow-ups with potential customers.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with our imaging and product teams to help articulate customer needs and gather market feedback.

Industry Presence

• Represent Orbem at industry events, conferences, and trade shows with the clear objective of generating qualified leads and building your network.

Your Profile

• You are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have gained initial practical experience through previous internships or working student roles in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startup, consulting, Venture Development).
• You have a strong analytical mindset and are curious to dive deep into new markets within food, and beyond.
• You possess a genuine interest in technology, sales, and business strategy.

Effective Communication

• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You have the ability to understand complex topics and communicate them clearly.
• Fluency in English and in either Spanish, Italian, or Greek is required.

What Makes You Stand Out From Other Candidates

• You have a specific interest or prior experience in the food or agriculture industry.
• You are fluent in German
• You are proficient in more than one of the required languages (Spanish, Italian, Greek).
