Purpose of jobThis position oversees financial performance management and reporting for the lending business, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting and internal control standards. The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analysis, while strengthening process efficiency, automation, and collaboration across Finance, Accounting, and business functions to support informed decision-making. TasksAct as the main contact and finance partner for the lending business across all entities and branchesEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and management reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, including ALCO submissionsProvide performance analysis through key financial indicators, peer comparisons, and variance reviews against budgets and forecastsDevelop profitability and contribution margin reporting to monitor branch, product, and client performance in coordination with relevant teamsPrepare annual budgets, multi-year plans, and quarterly forecasts, ensuring consistency and reliability of financial dataStrengthen internal controls and processes to enhance accuracy and transparency in reporting and forecasting RequirementsSeveral years of experience in controlling or finance inside a financial institutionBachelor’s or Master’s degree required; professional qualifications are an advantageAbility to grasp complex financial matters, challenge assumptions, and present conclusions clearly and accuratelyStrong analytical, numerical, and IT capabilitiesProfessional fluency in English required; German is an asset
