The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion. It is open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to gain valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract under Business Frances eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements

• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Monaco) graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country if any
• Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

A VIE position for a Project Supply Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Munich (Germany).

You will join the Connected Intelligence Procurement Organization of Airbus Defence and Space. We are a transnational organization highly operational and directly impact the full spectrum of Defence and Space programmes. Within this role you will support the management of the whole Procurement organisation in front of programmes / projects ensuring coherence between programmes & procurement topics. As such you will define and agree the appropriate procurement approach.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point towards the Product Line / Project for procurement / purchasing matters
• Coordinate the Supply Management functions on bids and projects including: Procurement Contract Management, Commodity Management, Supply Chain Quality, Supplier Operations
• Support the sourcing strategies and liaise with Commodity Management for the sourcing of all project items
• Handle contracts and negotiations if required
• Ensure that purchasing processes are correctly and consistently applied
• Facilitate the exchange of information between all different stakeholders in line with Project needs and in alignment with the main Project Manager of the projects

Required Skills

• Qualification or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills, being able to influence and willing to negotiate with both internal and external interfaces
• Negotiation level in German and English language
• International experience would be desired

Le VIE est un contrat spécifique sous les critères d’éligibilité de Business France.

• Diplômés jusqu'à et y compris 28 ans (une mission VIE ne peut commencer après le jour du vingt-neuvième anniversaire)

Dans ce rôle vous soutiendrez la gestion de l’ensemble de l’organisation des Achats face aux programmes / projets en assurant la cohérence entre les programmes et les sujets d’approvisionnement. À ce titre vous définirez et conviendrez de l’approche d’approvisionnement appropriée.

Tâches & Responsabilités

• Être le point de contact principal envers la Ligne de Produit / Projet pour les questions d’approvisionnement / achats
• Coordonner les fonctions de Gestion des Approvisionnements sur les offres et les projets y compris : Gestion des Contrats d’Approvisionnement, Gestion des Commodités, Qualité de la Chaîne d’Approvisionnement, Opérations des Fournisseurs
• Soutenir les stratégies d’approvisionnement et collaborer avec la Gestion des Commodités pour l’approvisionnement de tous les éléments du projet
• Gérer les contrats et les négociations si nécessaire
• Assurer que les processus d’achat sont correctement et de manière cohérente appliqués
• Faciliter l’échange d’informations entre toutes les parties prenantes différentes en fonction des besoins du Projet et en alignement avec le Chef de Projet principal des projets

Compétences requises

• Nous recherchons des candidats avec les compétences suivantes :
• Diplôme ou formation en Gestion de la Chaîne d’Approvisionnement, Ingénierie, Administration des Affaires ou expérience équivalente
• Bonnes compétences en communication capable d’influencer et prêt à négocier avec les interfaces internes et externes
• Niveau de négociation en allemand et en anglais
• Une expérience internationale serait souhaitée
