How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

You will contribute to this mission by

Data Science

Based on an existing BI-Report you proof and increase the demand forecast accuracy. You act as a Solution owner for the delivered BI dashboard and critically review the existing assumptions for the demand forecast. Together with R&D you apply machine learning algorithms to continuously improve the forecast accuracy

Business Intelligence and data engineering

Based on an existing S&OP Dashboard you will continuously improve the forecast accuracy and visualization of the data so it can be effectively used during the S&OP meetings. You animate the data owners and hosting counterparts (GDO) to deliver data on time. You will also be responsible for the Data Quality within your perimeter.

Data analysis

You analyse results (identifying patterns risks opportunities) and turn them into information and comprehensive analysis that will offer ways to improve the business and thus affect decision making; you help create new analysis methods data collection & modelling processes.

Business Process Implementation

Based on clear requirements offered by the group you will implement test and prepare the process for S&OP for NCE and liaise with the data owners in the several departments.

Are you a MATCH

Education

Master degree in Business Engineering or Computer Science.

Have a first successful experience as a BI or data analyst within industry tech or consulting sectors.

Soft and Hard Skills

Understanding of data modeling and basic knowledge of SQL
Proven experience with data visualisation tools (PowerBI including DAX)
Experience with a programming language (Python or R)
Experience with Cloud AWS solutions
Experience with project management and agile practices
Understanding of statistics concepts and machine learning algorithms
Eager to connect to stakeholders with different backgrounds

Languages

English fluency is Must have
German or French are Nice to have

You will join a small team under supervision of the (NCE) S&OP Sourcing Manager. The position offers a multi angle perspective of the End-to-End business including planning production logistics controlling and other key departments in North Central Europe of Air Liquide.
