Position Overview

The Visa Process Specialist manages all administrative and procedural aspects of visa and residence permits for candidates relocating to Germany. The role involves coordinating with embassies, immigration authorities, and legal partners to ensure applications and documentation comply with German immigration law (Aufenthaltsgesetz) and DastN’s internal standards. By combining legal expertise, operational coordination, and candidate support, the specialist ensures smooth, compliant, and efficient relocation outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Visa & Residency Management: Handle end-to-end visa and residence permit procedures, ensuring compliance with German immigration law (AufenthG).
• Coordination: Liaise with embassies, immigration offices, legal advisors, and internal teams to secure required documents and appointments.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, validate documents, oversee translations/authentications, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Process Improvement: Monitor regulatory updates, streamline procedures, and provide guidance to teams for efficient and compliant relocation outcomes.

Must Have

• Bachelor’sdegree in Law, International Relations, Business Administration, or relatedfield.
• 3–5 years of experience in visa processing,immigration consulting, or international mobility management.
• Deep understanding of German immigration andresidence laws and embassy procedures.
• Proven ability to manage visa files and liaisewith embassies and official authorities.
• Excellent organizational and communicationskills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working in a digital/automated environment(ERP, CRM, or case management tools).
• Fluency in English required; German proficiencyis strongly preferred.
• Professionalism, integrity, and discretion inhandling sensitive information.
