Visiting Analyst (M/F/D) - Munich for Q3 2025

We are seeking a new team member to fulfill our mission, someone who thrives in a dynamic start-up environment with a strong willingness for ownership. A background in science, technology, or engineering is required.

What you’ll be doing

1. Deal Sourcing and Screening: Assist in sourcing potential investment opportunities through market research, industry trend analysis, and inbound deal flow assessment.
2. Due Diligence: Collaborate with the investment team to analyze potential investments, including market analysis, financial assessment, business model evaluation, and competitor analysis.
3. Market Research / Industry Dossiers: Keep up-to-date with impact investing developments, emerging technologies, and market trends. Conduct deep dives into research areas and define investment hypotheses.
4. Impact Assessment: Contribute to evaluating startups' social and environmental impact potential.
5. Presentation and Reporting: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and risks.

What you bring

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in tech, healthcare, engineering, or science. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Prior Experience: Experience in startups, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or a technical/medical background.
3. Passion for Impact: Strong interest in impact investing and driving positive change.
4. Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate business models with attention to detail.
5. Research Acumen: Ability to quickly gather and synthesize information from various sources.
6. Radical Ownership: Hands-on approach and willingness to work independently.
7. Team Player: Collaborative mindset suitable for a small team.
8. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
9. Language Requirements: Fluent in English.

Duration

The internship lasts at least 4 months full-time, in Munich or Berlin. Shorter periods are negotiable for applicants with full-time professional experience.
