We are currently engaged in highly confidential, super top-secret projects that we cannot reveal yet.

To support our team in STUTTGART, we are looking for a fulltime VFX Producer (m|f|d) to start as soon as possible.

Role Overview:

The VFX Producer is at the heart of a production, forming the leadership team alongside the VFX Supervisor and representing both the project and RISE to external partners and internally. Responsible for delivering visual effects within budget, on schedule, and to the client’s satisfaction, the VFX Producer oversees all aspects of a show, from the initial breakdown, bidding, and scheduling through to managing change orders, setting milestones, and allocating facility resources. This role requires close collaboration with clients to build and maintain strong relationships while anticipating and addressing scheduling, budgetary, and creative challenges through proactive planning, problem solving, and clear communication with the Executive Producer and Head of Departments. In addition, the VFX Producer provides guidance and mentorship to junior Producers, Production Managers, and Coordinators, while working closely with the wider production leadership team to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.

Your Responsibilities:

• Produce and Manage Budgets and Schedules: Ensure the VFX work meets client satisfaction and the highest achievable standards.
• Workflow Documentation: Define, document, and communicate the project's overall workflow with the VFX Supervisor and Department Supervisors.
• Evaluate Production Costs: Update production costs, manage change orders, and handle the payment schedule with the client.
• Resource Planning: Plan and schedule facility resources with Department Supervisors and the VFX Supervisor across multiple offices.
• Milestone Oversight: Determine milestones, oversee scheduling, and ensure assignments are communicated and respected.
• Day-to-Day Scheduling: For some shows, manage daily schedules with the Coordinator(s) in the absence of a Production Manager.
• Financial Liaison: Coordinate with EP, Head of Production, and finance for cashflow planning, invoicing, and reporting.
• Progress Reporting: Provide regular verbal and written progress reports to clients, management, and internal teams.
• Facility Coordination: Ensure all departments are aware of schedule changes and production requirements, such as disk space and render capacities.
• Team Management: Manage and train production coordinators and managers, oversee their work, and handle performance and attendance.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate with external vendors for outsourcing purposes.
• Show Wrap: Oversee archiving, marketing materials, credits, and conduct post-mortem meetings to communicate key results.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in leading a production, being the face of the project to external partners, and managing internal teams.
• Ability to manage initial visual effects breakdowns, bids, and overview schedules.
• Proven experience in liaising with clients and managing these relationships.
• Effective communication skills with EP, other producers, and head of departments.
• Ability to provide regular updates and ensure all departments are informed of changes and requirements.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Proven ability to negotiate with external vendors for outsourcing purposes.
• Experience with production tools such as Excel, FileMaker, Shotgun, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience in overseeing project wrap-up activities, including archiving and post-mortem meetings.
