About the role: This individual will work remotely with a global team and needs the ability to support C-level clients who themselves are global is key. This VP Analyst will provide actionable insights to C-level Gartner clients who are General Managers, responsible for planning, creating, and managing Enterprise Application Services practices and offerings in both corporate and cloud environments. This role will also predict and project how application services market trends will impact end clients in their service solutions initiatives and decisions. The successful candidate will have a thought leading vision for how application services will evolve, and what Gartner's service provider clients in this market must do to succeed. We look for practical, operational and commercial experience creating and bringing to market services solutions, the creation of differentiated services offerings, driving impact for clients, as well as growth and profitability at the practice level. The ideal candidate will possess strong, broad industry experience across various application services and multiple application stacks. They should have experience that could be applied across multiple application stacks (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, etc) not just a single stack. They will understand buyer needs and provider constraints in consulting, implementation, management and support of enterprise application services.
