WHAT TO EXPECT

• You will teach mathematics in the bachelor’s programmes at the Department of Chemical Engineering .
• In addition, you will conduct research and teach innovative approaches to solving problems in chemistry and process engineering using big data and data-based solutions (digital chemistry ).
• We offer you an outstanding computer infrastructure . You will also have access to high-performance computing (HPC) facilities at a regional and national level.
• You will be involved in developing the new Digital Engineering degree program.
• As well as getting involved in regional and national/international projects in applied research and knowledge transfer , you will play an active role in the self-government of our university.

Your expertise is founded upon studies in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related STEM subject , as well as a recognised doctorate focusing on applied research.

Professional experience of working with big data, artificial intelligence and data analysis , applied to relevant issues in chemistry, is desirable.

Ideally, you will have experience of using contemporary, competency-based teaching and learning concepts and be able to support our internationalisation strategy by teaching in both German and English – you are business fluent in both languages.

Your interest in establishing and maintaining international contacts , as well as collaborating in the areas of research and teaching, completes your profile.
