W2-Professur (m/w/d) im Fach Gesang

At the Aachen campus, in Fachbereich 4 (Gesang), for the Wintersemester 2026/27 a position will be filled. The candidate should be an internationally outstanding artist with extensive repertoire knowledge in musical theatre, concert and Lied repertoire.

• Completed university degree in voice from a music university or comparable institution.
• Pedagogical experience at university level.
• Extensive experience in musical theatre, concert and Lied.
• Stylistic versatility.
• Regular presence at the Aachen campus.
• Active participation in examinations and academic governance.
• Willingness to participate in artistic life of the university, e.g. performances and competitions.
• Very good German language skills.

The appointment is a temporary private service contract with an initial term of two years, governed by § 29 of the law on music universities of North Rhine-Westphalia.
