Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to design, build, and scale robust web-based services with third-party integrations. In this role, you'll take ownership of complex features across the stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other developers while partnering closely with the Web Development Team Leader to ensure high-quality delivery and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, REST APIs using (Express)
• Design, develop, and maintain NodeJS/Python-based worker services for long-running and asynchronous tasks
• Build and optimize complex, high-performance user interfaces using and modern state-management patterns
• Lead implementation of third-party API integrations and data-ingestion workflows
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while setting quality standards for the team
• Design and implement short- and long-running background jobs using Redis Queue or RabbitMQ
• Build and optimize worker processes using frameworks such as Bull or Celery
• Implement reliability patterns including retries, back-off strategies, rate limiting, and graceful failure handling

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, including full-stack development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and (Express or NestJS)
• Production experience with Python, including building and maintaining background workers and services
• Hands-on experience with Python async and networking libraries (e.g., sockets, async IO concepts)
• Proven experience building and scaling SPAs with
• Hands-on experience with job-queue systems (RabbitMQ, Redis Queue) and worker frameworks (Celery, Bull)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and failure handling
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and pull-request governance
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
