Job Objective

Due to our strong growth, we are looking to strengthen our system administration team and are looking for an experienced System Administratorat our Berlin location. As a strong generalist in system administration, you have the opportunity to join a growing team making a positive impact across a variety of efforts. Due to our quickly growing business, there are always new projects and many ways to be involved in the success of Signa Sports United!

What you will be responsible for

• The key focus is on ensuring stable and performant technology operations across the platform.
• Provide system integration, hardware and software installation and configuration and deployment of servers in support of the target architecture.
• Provide problem resolution and technical support.
• Support the design, validation and configuration of the technology platform.
• Monitor system performance in support of capacity planning, backup/restore and BCM planning.

What we're looking for

• You have solid experience in Information Technology as an IT specialist.
• 5+ years’ experience in administration of Windows operating systems (Windows Server / Desktop OS) including user management with Active Directory (AD / AAD)
• You have experience in 1st, 2nd and, ideally, 3rd level Support or Full System Administration.
• You have good knowledge in heterogeneous client/server environments like Windows, Linux and Mac.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms and technologies including Azure, Exchange, Intune, Office, MSFT365, etc.
• You have full knowledge and work experience in Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server Platform), Windows Networking and Windows Server management products like WSUS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or ESX Server.
• Familiarity with network protocols and standards.
• Strong knowledge in automation with PowerShell, Bash and/or scripts.
• Experience with AWS administration as well as cloud migrations.
• You are a natural problem solver, always considering how to do things differently and you attempt to solve problems without close supervision.
• Design / Architect experience a plus.
• Experience with Linux administration is nice to have but not required.
• Understand and have experience with ITIL based processes and procedures such as Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.
• Team-oriented, hands‑on mind‑set.
• Good communication skills in English, German is nice to have but not a must. Additional language skills are a plus.
